Bangalore: In a setback to industrialist, Vijay Mallya, the Karnataka High Court on Saturday refused to quash the criminal cases filed against him by the Income-Tax Department for not remitting the tax deducted at source by Kingfisher Airlines Ltd.
Justice Nagamohan Das passed the order while dismissing the petitions filed by Kingfisher Airlines and its Chairman, Vijay Mallya.
