Bangalore: The expressway to KIA is finally done and dusted. Well, almost. Commuters can now zip from Hebbal to the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in about 20 minutes. But some bottlenecks underneath the elevated road are here to stay.National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) officials said all flyovers after Hebbal have been opened for public use. The Hebbal flyover, where a lane was added to the left, towards the airport, will also be readied soon.NHAI officials said service roads along the stretch will be asphalted in a week's time, and upgradation will be complete by the second week of February.
