Nagpur: The state of some of the public amenities at the new terminal building of Nagpur's Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport is worrisome. Complaints of unkempt bathrooms and defunct digital flight display boards have come from the passengers.
It is not for the first time that passengers have pointed out to the poorly maintained bathrooms at the terminal building. "The toilets on the first floor are in pathetic condition. Auto flush in the toilets does not seem to be working. Similarly, the toilets look like they are not cleaned regularly. The stench was also unbearable. There wasn't even an air freshener there," said Gyanesh Verma, a traveller.
"There are five sets of washrooms on the ground floor and two sets on the first floor. Repair works are going on to renovate these. First, we have taken up the ground floor toilets to be refurbished," said P Anil Kumar, senior airport director.
