Vasco: Six cleaners were arrested by Dabolim airport police on suspicion of theft after a wallet and a passport of a crew member on a chartered flight that arrived from Russia went missing. Later, the passport and the wallet were found in a dustbin of the airport terminal building.
A complaint lodged by Melroy D'Costa, manager of the charter company in Goa, stated that at about 3am on Saturday the charter flight number UT 5039 arrived at Dabolim airport carrying passengers from Moscow, Russia. After all passengers got down from the flight the cleaners were sent in for cleaning. The flight was supposed to leave at 4am after an hour. When the crew members returned to the plane, one of the male members noticed that his wallet and passport was missing from the pilot's cabin.
