Mysore: With the demand from stakeholders increasing to restore air connectivity to Bangalore from Mysore, the SpiceJet, which has been operating direct flights to Chennai from Mysore and vice versa, has decided to restore the flight connectivity to Bangalore from Feb. 1. Initially, the airline started its Mysore-Bangalore-Chennai service last year, but had suspended the Bangalore link owing to some technical issue and instead, offered direct flights to Chennai from Mysore. It is said that the SpiceJet authorities have decided to restore the flight operations to Bangalore owing to demand from industrialists and tour operators as they feel 55 minute flight was an advantage over five hour long drive from Mysore to Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bangalore.
