Kozhikode: Air Customs Intelligence today seized 2.8 kgs of gold valued at around Rs 84 lakh, near Karippur International Airport from a passenger who arrived by an Air India Express Dubai-Kozhikode flight. Besides the passenger Altaf, an Air India contract (security) employee was also taken into custody in connection with the seizure, customs officials said.
