Bhubaneswar: The process of approval of international flight schedules from the Biju Patnaik airport with the Ministry of Civil Aviation should be expedited, Odisha Chief Secretary J K Mohapatra said today.
With some airlines giving flight schedules for operating international flights from the airport, Mohapatra at the meeting here advised Director of Bhubaneswar Airport Sharad Kumar to speed up the process of approval by the Civil Aviation Ministry.
Fly Dubai and Air Asia have given their schedules for operating international flights from Bhubaneswar, official sources said.
Fly Dubai would operate from Bhubaneswar to Dubai and Air Asia from Bhubaneswar to Kualalumpur, they said.
