Mangalore: The customs officials at Mangalore International Airport on Monday February 3 apprehended yet another passenger for trying to smuggle in gold. In the seventh such case reported in just a month, the officials seized gold worth almost Rs 14 lac.
The gold was found in the suitcase of passenger Abdulla Haris Mukkunnoth Pallikunhi, a resident of Kasaragod.
Abdulla Haris arrived at Mangalore International Airport on February 3 at around 5.15 pm by Air India Express flight IX 384 from Dubai.
