Fear of mishaps forces MMRDA to put up more signs for Sahar elevated road

Mumbai: After several instances of near collisions at the mouth of the Sahar elevated road, the city’s development authority has now installed additional signages on the Western Express Highway and the Santacruz Airport Flyover to use the newly-opened road to the new airport terminal, T2.
The entrance to the Sahar elevated road from the Western Express Highway is an underpass in the middle of the road at the Hanuman Road junction in Vile Parle, at a short distance from the Santacruz airport junction flyover. The underpass leads to an elevated road to the new terminal.
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has installed instruction boards to inform commuters to keep to the right to take the underpass to access the freeway to T2.
