Mangalore: Customs officials at Mangalore International Airport (MIA) at Kenjar on Friday seized 1 kg gold bar and eight silver-coated metallic gold wires, weighing 1.350 kg and valued at Rs 40.48 lakh.
This is the sixth case of smuggling detected at MIA in January involving seizure of 3.476 kg of gold valued at Rs 1.06 crore.
