Mangalore: Louis Lobo, president of the Konkan Overseas Returnees Welfare Association (KORWA) Mangalore and vice-president Elias Sanctis on Saturday February 22 submitted a memorandum to J R Lobo MLA Mangalore South requesting him to try and restore the services of the Air India Express or get any other private airline to operate between Mangalore and Kuwait.
The memorandum expressed disappointment of the KORWA members over the cancellation of the flight services.
"We are shocked that the said services can continue on the extant route of Kozhikode to Kuwait even as it passes a location that has a lot of passengers that use the flight services to Kuwait," it said.
