Man caught at airport carrying 116gm gold in pen refills

Mumbai: On Monday, officials intercepted a passenger, who had stuffed gold inside refills of inexpensive ball pens. The quantity was 116 gms, much smaller as compared to their earlier hauls.
“Nowadays gold is cut into smaller pieces and that makes it more difficult to detect,” said additional commissioner (airport customs) Milind Lanjewar.
