Visakhapatnam: The Port City, which is already connected by air to eight cities, can soon expect to be connected to more cities as its airport has 24x7 operational capabilities and because of the likely increase in traffic in the near future, said MP T Subbarami Reddy.
The parliamentarian, who was participating in a programme organised by the Air Travellers Association (India) here on Wednesday, added that two more flights from Vizag can be expected to be launched in summer. Discussions have been held with Air India urging them to start a Delhi-Vizag daily flight in the morning to cater to the needs of the region, he said.
