Silk Air to Reward Travellers

Thiruvananthapuram: Silk Air, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, is all set to celebrate its silver jubilee anniversary on February 21. To commemorate this milestone, the airlines will be rewarding its Business Class customers travelling from India with a limited edition 24 K gold coin weighing 4 grams each in a special eight-day promotion.
Customers from India booking their round trip Business Class flights on Silk Air during February 21-  28  for travel between March 1 and July 31 this year will receive up to two coins each .
Customers flying from Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Coimbatore will receive the gold coin featuring the Silk Air and Boeing 737 logo. Those  flying from Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad will receive the gold coin featuring the Silk Air and the special 25th anniversary logo.
Commenting on the anniversary celebrations Silk Air general manager India David Lau told mediapersons here on Wednesday that 2.5 lakh specially-priced tickets will also be released worldwide to mark the jubilee.
