Mangalore: Two people were arrested by the custom officers at the Mangalore International Airport for allegedly bringing in 932 grams of gold. In a press release, the officials said that Shereef Abdulkareem, a resident of Kasargod was arrested for trying to smuggle two gold sheets weighing 466 grams which he had concealed in the base of brown coloured bag. Shereef was caught after he landed at the Mangalore International Airport by an Air India Express flight from Dubai on Friday evening.
