Chennai: Foreign currency worth about Rs 7.5 lakh was today seized by customs officials and one person arrested in this connection at the international airport here.
Officials said when a passenger, Abubacker Siddique, scheduled to fly to Colombo by the 8.50 am Air Lanka flight, was checked, he was found to be in possession of USD 12,500.
