Two women arrested for smuggling in gold at Mumbai airport

Mumbai: Officials of Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) of the Customs department today arrested two women passengers for allegedly trying to smuggle gold worth Rs 20 lakh into the country at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport here.
Sources in AIU said Rekha Tarunahasanee and Kanaka Pandyan were carrying 762 grams of gold each. They had arrived here from Bangkok.
