Indore: It was unusual sight for villagers of Jhalaria area in Indore to see the groom land in none other than a chopper. Chandrashekhar Singh, a farmer, who always dreamt of a fairytale wedding, made it happen for his love mate Jaymala Kanwar.
Groom's relative Hariom Thakur said, "Former Congress MLA Satya Narayan Patel provided us the helicoptor for free. Sajjan Singh Khushwah, one of our relatives made all the arrangements."
We sought permission from the local and airport authority," said Thakur. The chopper took off at 5.40pm from Maya Khedi, Arandiya village and covering a distance of around five kilometer, the chopper reached Jhalaria Darbar, the marriage venue, in no time. A helipad was laid down by local administration and police personnel were deployed at the spot.
