Mumbai: Passengers at the domestic airport were inconvenienced because of a power problem in the terminal building on Wednesday.
Some passengers said the air-conditioner was not working and the lights were dim. A few passengers also said fans at some places were non-functional. A flyer, who was to board a flight to Goa around 8 pm, said flights were delayed till late.
"It was almost dark, with dim lighting," the passenger said. While I was able to check-in, my flight was rescheduled thrice. It was delayed by over two-and-half hours and a new departure time of 10.40 pm was given. It is very frustrating, waiting for flight in a dimly lit terminal building.
"Airport officials said flights were delayed by 15 minutes and the power cut had not inconvenienced passengers. An official said fans were functional. "The power back-up at the airport ensured flight perations, check-in and security checks were unaffected till evening," the official said.
