New Delhi: A Thai woman was today arrested for allegedly carrying foreign currency worth about Rs 28 lakh at the airport here.
The woman, who had come to board a flight to Bangkok, was intercepted by customs officials. On examination of her baggage, it was found containing foreign currency amounting to UK Sterling Pound 27,400 (equivalent to Rs 28,22,200)," a press release issued by the customs said.
