Indore: Two persons, who were detained at Indore airport for allegedly carrying illegal diamond jewellery worth Rs 2.25crore haven't been able to produce valid documents for jewellery worth Rs 1.25 crore. The duo were identified as Mukul Patel and Arpit Lodha. Both the accused are from Mumbai.
Patel and Lodha were detained by Air Intelligence Unit at the behest of the I-T department on Thursday night.
During interrogation, the duo told I-T sleuths that they were going back to Mumbai after their deal did not work out with Ratlam-based DP Jewellers.
