Coimbatore: A 45-year-old man has been taken into custody and gold biscuits worth about Rs.50 lakh seized from his possession at the airport in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, police said today.
Immigration officials became suspicious over the movements of the man, Abdul Rahman, who arrived from Singapore last night, who was seen frequently using the toilet and followed him.
On search, the officials found 18 gold biscuits covered in tissue paper in the toilet, they said.
