New Delhi: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Thursday apprehended two women of African origin for allegedly trying to smuggle contraband pseudoephedrine worth over Rs 2.2 crore in the international market at IGI Airport.
The two women were identified as Malawi national Viola Chanjira Mandota, 38, and Medina Adriano, 31, a Mocambicana national.
According to CISF, in the wee hours of Thursday, a CISF check squad deployed at the Terminal-3 (T-3) of the IGI airport intercepted Adriano when she arrived to take a flight to Johannesburg.
