Mumbai: A Jharkhand-based businessman was arrested for groping and misbehaving with a woman flyer on a flight that arrived from Brazil on Monday.
The woman was accompanied by her husband and their son on the flight and they were returning from a week-long Brazil tour, the police said. The accused, Rajesh Singh, misbehaved with the woman and was soon nabbed by co-passengers and flight staff, who handed him over to the Sahar police, minutes after the flight landed at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.
"Soon after the flight took off from Sao Paulo in Brazil, Singh, who was seated behind the victim, started passing lewd comments. Though he apologized for his actions, he subsequently touched her inappropriately twice. Singh's misbehaviour did not stop there, and he groped her when she was about to enter the toilet. The airline staff, her husband and co-passengers immediately came to her rescue.
