Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court on Thursday ordered the issue of emergent notices to central government represented by Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport, National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and Navayuga Devanahalli Tollway Pvt Ltd. The notices have been issued following a PIL filed by advocate N. P. Amrutesh against the steep hike in toll near the Kempegowda International Airport.
The petitioner had sought directions to disclose the agreement between the Navayuga Devanahalli Tollway Pvt Ltd and NHAI and the Centre.
