Mangalore: The officers of customs at Mangalore International Airport on Saturday May 10 seized gold worth Rs 4.14 lac from a passenger.
The gold was seized from a passenger identified as Muneer Pallipuzha, a resident of Pallikere, Kasargod.
The officials seized one silver coated gold sheet weighing 116.5 grams concealed inside a flask and three gold coins weighing 24 grams totally valued at Rs 4,14,370.
Muneer arrived at the airport on Saturday around 9.30 am by Air India Express flight IX 824 from Sharjah.
