Chennai: A passenger who arrived at the airport from Singapore this morning was arrested for allegedly smuggling gold worth Rs 15 lakh.
Mohammed Anees of Chennai was held after Air Intelligence Unit of the Customs Department found him carrying 440 gms of the yellow metal concealed inside an adaptor, airport sources said.
