Chennai: Two unattended bags created flutter at the airport here, prompting security officials to launch a check of the two.
The bags were found near the parked car of Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram who was bound for Delhi from Madurai, airport sources said.
Bomb disposal squads of CISF took possession of the bags and a detailed examination revealed that one of them was a women’s handbag while the other contained laptop and cellphone.
