Shillong: Two persons, hailing from Phulbari in West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya, were apprehended by Air Force personnel for clicking photographs in the vicinity of the high-security Eastern Air Command (EAC) headquarters at Laitkor, Upper Shillong, here. The duo was identified as Shakur Ali (21) and Noor Zaman (29).
"They were clicking photos at GES Site, Site III of the Air Force in Laitkor. Both were accosted on Saturday around 1pm by the chief technical officer of the Air Force Station," a source said. They were handed over to police and a case was registered with the Madanryting police station. The Air Force personnel recovered a mobile phone from them which had images of the site.
