Another case of usurped PAP plot in Navi Mumbai

Navi Mumbai: With the international airport project back on track, criminal cases involving usurping of Cidco-allotted PAP plots of the deceased are on the rise.

In one such case, Digambar Prabhakar Patil, 23, a PAP heir and son of deceased farmer Prabhakar Patil, from Padghe village of Panvel taluka, accused three relatives of forging papers and selling a PAP plot to a builder, in connivance with Cidco officials. He also demanded compensation from the parties involved. Digambar had registered an FIR (May 19) at CBD police station against the three.

The family members of Digambar addressed a press conference in CBD-Belapur on Wednesday and urged the police department to take action against the concerned Cidco officials in the land and survey department and also the builder, apart from the three accused.
