Imphal: The much awaited Imphal-Mandalay round trip flight which was scheduled to take off from here on June 27, has been postponed in view of the non-completion of certain ground works at the Tulihal airport in Imphal, according to KB Enterprises, a private tour operator here.
“We have to wait clearance from Ministry of Civil Aviation and Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi. Moreover, the Airport Authority of India has to complete installation of certain works”, the operator said in a press release explaining the postponement. The release added, “Rescheduled date will be announced when the concerned authorities issue respective clearances.”
