Mumbai: Customs officials seized 8kg gold worth Rs 2.06 crore from three passengers at the city airport on Saturday. Gold in the form of metallic disc and blocks, weighing 2.4kg and worth Rs 63.22 lakh, was recovered from John Mohamed who arrived from Singapore. Imran Khan, who too arrived from Singapore, had smuggled in 2.5kg gold worth Rs 66.11 lakh, also in the form of metallic disc and blocks. A flyer from Abu Dhabi, Aboobacker Hamad, was found with 27 gold bars, weighing 2.9kg and valued at Rs 76.7 lakh.
