Mumbai: In two separate cases, gold worth Rs 1.29 crore was recovered from two passengers who arrived at the city airport from Singapore in separate flights, Customs officials said.
In the first case, one John Mohammed, was apprehended last night at the city's international airport and 2,458 grams gold worth about Rs 63 lakh was seized from him, the Air Intelligence Unit of the Mumbai Customs said.
