Chennai: A passenger bus operating for Spicejet that was on its way to pick up people deboarding a flight, caught fire, after sparks were seen from the vehicle’s AC apparatus.
Airport sources said that the incident occurred near bay number 54 and the driver made an emergency call immediately. A fire tender rushed over and doused the flame within 6 minutes of the report.
