N Goa tourist taxi owners support Mopa

Panaji: The north Goa tourist taxi owners association (NGTTOA) has decided to come out in full support of the proposed Mopa airport even as South Goa tourist taxi owners have always opposed the proposed airport.

The association is likely to publicly make its stand clear after September 15.

The NGTTOA will meet chief minister Manohar Parrikar after September 15 over its pending demands which were placed before the government after their agitation in February over functioning of Ola Cabs in Goa.
NGTTOA general secretary Vinayak Nanoskar told TOI that they would announce their decision after the government fulfills their remaining demands. He also clarified that their support to Mopa airport is not conditional.
