Surat: The Petroleum and Explosive Safety Organisation (PESO) has lifted the ban on the ?on wheel' supply of ATF fuel to the aircrafts arriving at the Surat airport from September 3.
Last month, the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) had issued a notice to airmen (NOTAM) to the airlines operating at Surat airport stating that the aircrafts will not get the delivery of ?on wheel' ATF from September 1. The decision had come after PESO banned the supply of the on wheel fuel to the aircrafts.
Official sources said that the airport authorities received a letter from PESO, Nagpur stating that the on wheel fuel facility to the aircrafts arriving at Surat airport will continue unabated, until permanent fuel filling facility is not set up in the airport premises.
