Kochi: A woman who is wanted by the Tamil Nadu Police in connection with a murder case was detained at the Cochin International Airport on Wednesday morning.
Periyamma, 30, a native of Tamil Nadu, was taken into custody by officials of the Immigration Department. According to officials of the Nedumbassery police, she is accused of murdering her brother-in-law in the Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu in 2011. The Tamil Nadu police had issued a lookout notice against her after she went into hiding after being released on bail.
