Nashik: A number of private airline operators will visit Nashik on Friday following Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd's (HAL) invitation to them for air service from the new airport terminal at Ozar, nearly 20 km from Nashik city.
The airline operators will visit the airport terminal building and attend a presentation on the air service potential of the city.
At least 10 airline operators, including leading names such as Jet Airways, Indigo Airlines, GoAir, Spicejet, have been invited for the interaction, during which HAL and Nashik Industries & Manufacturers' Association (NIMA) officials will make a presentation on the growth of Nashik and its potential for air service. NIMA will also present a statistic survey report on business- and general-category fliers from Nashik availing of both domestic and international airlines.
