2015 to bring in slew of facilities at airport

Indore: Come 2015 and Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport, Indore would be providing various facilities to cater to the growing demands of passengers at the airport. The airport would soon have a medical inspection centre at the new terminal to render medical services to the passengers whenever needed. According to airport director, Manoj Chansoria, airport will soon have a medical inspection room so that the passenger whenever in need can avail medical facilities on the spot.

"We have sent our expression of interest to major city hospitals such as CHL, Bombay Hospital, Vedanta Hospital and Aurobindo Hospital and hopefully we will start the services by January 2015." He added that in the medical inspection centre will have one doctor and one attendant along with an ambulance at the airport. Director added that Wi-Fi facility would also be provided to the passengers.
"I had received various suggestions from passengers to have a Wi-Fi zone at the airport and we have started with the tendering process. Telecom operators are also surveying the need for Wi-Fi at the airport and we have planned to start this facility in the coming year," said Chansoria, adding the Wi-Fi facility would be accessible free for limited hours and for excess usage, users will be charged for the service.
