GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHAIL) recently bought out Malaysia Aerospace Engineering SDN BHD (MAE)’s 44.61% stake in a jointly-owned maintenance and overhaul facility.
With the buyout, MAS GMR Aerospace Engineering Company Limited (MGAE), becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of GHIAL, itself a subsidiary of the diversified GMR Infrastructure Limited.
GMR did not disclose the deal’s value (involving 9,67,50,000 shares of face value of INR 10 each) but said it was for a nominal consideration.
