Mumbai: Jet Airways passengers created a ruckus at Mumbai airport on Thursday after their flight was delayed by a couple of hours allegedly over non-availability of pilots.
"Our Bhavnagar flight was scheduled for a 10.15am departure, but it did not take off on time," said Jignesh Bhuta, one of the affected passengers.
"After waiting a while, the passengers got angry as we were not given any information on flight status. When the passengers grouped together and rounded up the airline officials, they told us that the flight has been delayed as the pilots rostered to operate it were not available because it was the New Year. The airline had a similar problem with a flight to Nagpur," he added.
The Bhavnagar flight eventually departed at 12.30 pm.
