Raipur: ith just a day left for the deadline provided by the civil aviation department, allowing operation of shops in the security hold area of Swami Vivekanand Airport, authorities have failed to secure necessary clearances, leading to possibilities of their closure again.
Four shops were closed down last Sunday, on orders of deputy commissioner of security, civil aviation, BS Tewari, for want of security clearances. The officer, who was visiting Raipur, had taken a suo motu action and directed the CISF to close down shops.
However, after intervention from authorities, shops were allowed to temporarily operate for a week during which necessary clearances had to be obtained.
