Bengaluru: To facilitate people visiting the five-day Aero India 2015 show beginning on February 18, the BMTC will operate special buses to the Indian Air Force Station at Yelahanka, the venue of the event.
With the aircraft flying displays scheduled between 10 am and 2 pm, the BMTC will operate buses from different parts of the City to the venue from 8 am. The special services will be operated mainly from the Kempegowda Bus Station, Manekshaw Parade Ground near MG Road, Yelahanka Police Station (NES), Hebbal Ring Road Junction, Banashankari, Kengeri, and Central Silk Board areas.
Depending on the demand from the public, buses will be operated from Yeshwantpur bus station, Jayanagar bus station, Koramangala and other places.
All Vayu Vajra buses bound for Kempegowda International Airport will stop at Hunisemaranahalli bus stop, off Yelahanka Air Force Station.
The public can utilise the parking facilities available at Yeshwantpur Traffic and Transit Management Centre (TTMC), Shanthinagar bus station, Jayanagar bus station, Koramangala bus station and other TTMCs to park their vehicles, and travel in BMTC buses for the air show.
