Delhi Police arrest two men for smoking in plane toilet

For the first time, the Delhi Police arrested two people for allegedly smoking on board a plane.
According to the police, the accused said that they wanted to check the fire alarm system inside the aircraft when the innovative idea of lighting a cigarette inside the aircraft struck them.
The work of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is once again in question over how the two accused managed to get the matchbox inside the plane.
According to the police, the accused, identified as Vinay Kumar (29) and Abhilash Sunil (26), may have to pay a penalty of up to Rs 1 lakh or spend three months in jail for risking security inside the aircraft.
On April 8, the Delhi Police got a call from the air traffic control (ATC) and the CISF, stating that the pilot of the GoAir has informed that two passengers were smoking inside the plane.
According to the police, the accused had managed to bypass numerous security checks while coming from Guwahati to Delhi.
