Kochi: An Air India flight which arrived here from Riyadh veered off the runway while landing before stopping at the Cochin International Airport on Tuesday night causing disruption to flight services for a while. Though the flight didn’t hit the edge lights and no one was injured in the incident, authorities had to suspend air operations for more than two hours leading to a disruption of air travel to central Kerala. The incident took place around 11 pm as the flight reached the taxiway, while being shifted to the parking bay. As a result of the slip, the staff had to push back the flight onto the runway before being taken to the bay.
