Air India (AI, Mumbai Int'l) is set to dry-lease fourteen A320neo twinjets from Kuwait's Aviation Lease and Finance Company (ALAFCO) with deliveries scheduled for between April 2017 and March 31, 2018. All are on ten-year long contracts.
The state-backed carrier is in the process of replacing its nineteen ex-Indian Airlines (IC, Delhi Int'l) A320-200s which now average close to twenty years of age.
