Trichy: Fly Easy, a Bangalore-based carrier, will be the new entrant at the Trichy Airport. The domestic carrier has sought approval from the aviation ministry to operate daily flights to Bangalore from Trichy.
Fly Easy officials held a meeting with the Trichy airport director and other senior authorities for the probable launch during the end of August.
For long, people from the district have been demanding domestic services from the city to metropolitan cities. The arrival of the new domestic carrier has brought cheers to them.
