Visakhapatnam: Agitations in protest of setting up Bhogapuram airport have been continuing. In the latest incident, a large number of farmers and locals near the Bhogapuram area staged a protest at the Mandal Revenue office at Bhogapuram Thursday.
A large number of farmers from Munjera, Chakivalasa, Bhogapuram and a few other panchayats staged a massive protest in front of the tahsildar’s office at Bhogapuram against the proposed International Greenfield airport.
Police said the customs authorities received a tip off about a courier who would land in the city from Dubai with a large consignment of gold.
