Sudanese National Held in Chennai Airport, Tried to Flee India With Forged Documents

Chennai:  ‎A Sudanese national, who first came to India in 2008 to pursue his BCA at Osmania University in Hyderabad, was arrested at the Chennai Airport on Wednesday morning. Mohammed Kamaleldin Fatah All (25) was caught by Bureau of Immigration (BOI) officials when he checked in to fly back to Sudan, on a Flydubai flight FZ448, at 5 am.
According to the airport police, Kamal had finished his degree and returned home in 2010 - only to come back on a two year visa to continue his masters. "However, there is no record of whether he studied beyond that in Hyderabad or elsewhere. He claims that he continued studying without realising that his visa expired in 2012," said an official.
