Operation of the latest Boeing 787 ‘Dreamliner’ aircraft from the Tiruchi international airport might take off if a study conducted in this regard gets a go-ahead.
A pre-feasibility study has been carried out by Scoot Private Limited, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, in connection with operating the ‘Dreamliner’ aircraft from Tiruchi in the Tiruchi–Singapore sector.
A top-level official from Scoot conducted the feasibility study at the Tiruchi international airport on Wednesday and Thursday in this regard besides holding discussions with airport officials.
